Welcome to Jungle Cafe, a hidden gem nestled on London Road in West Malling, where the hustle and bustle of life meets the warmth of home-cooked meals. This traditional transport cafe is more than just a pit stop; it’s a community hub that serves a diverse array of customers, from van drivers to local families, all drawn in by the promise of hearty fare and friendly conversation.

Upon entering Jungle Cafe, you might notice that it embraces a no-frills atmosphere that some may describe as basic. However, it's this simplicity that adds to its charm. Diners are greeted by a cozy yet unpretentious setting, perfect for those looking for a straightforward, satisfying meal. Set against the backdrop of the A20, the cafe is ideally situated for travelers and locals alike, boasting ample parking—a true convenience for those on the go.

The menu, though extensive, revolves around classic cafe staples. Customers rave about the delicious breakfasts that are served up with generous portions, ideal to fuel your day ahead. One reviewer, Simon Barton, shares, "Another great breakfast from the Jungle Cafe... it always makes a great start to the day." Whether you're in the mood for a full English breakfast, a hearty bowl of porridge, or perhaps something lighter like scrambled eggs on toast, the cafe has you covered. Each dish is cooked to order, ensuring freshness that reflects the commitment of the family-run establishment.

The culinary experience here is complemented by a genuine warmth that flows from the staff. As noted by Lelle S, "Lovely people, always making time to chit chat and remember small details in their customers' lives." The attentive service makes diners feel at home—where else can you enjoy a decent mug of tea or coffee while enjoying friendly banter with the staff? It’s the little things that make Jungle Cafe stand out, fostering a sense of community that keeps patrons returning.

Jungle Cafe is a reminder that dining can be as much about the experience as the food. As Fiona Murray reflects, it's not about the decor, but rather the "nice food" and the "decent mug of tea or coffee" that keeps her coming back. The essence of this cafe lies in its ability to provide a welcoming atmosphere while serving up consistently tasty meals that cater to all appetites.

So, whether you are stopping in for a quick breakfast or looking for a relaxed lunch spot, Jungle Cafe is worth a visit. You’ll leave not just with a full stomach, but with a smile and perhaps a new friend. Now that sounds like a recipe for a great day!

Basic cafe but food nice. Ideally it's a cafe for drivers as it's set on the A20. At least there's parking. It's an old place. Decor is not great but it's functional. Food is good and you get a decent mug of tea or coffee. So if you want a cosy cafe this might not be for you but if you want a nice breakfast or lunch this could be the one. I've eaten there a few times and not been disappointed.

Nice enough cafe. Just what you would expect to be fair. We popped in for a breakfast and a cuppa. Food was ok and the staff were friendly. The young man serving us initially took the time to chat so made us feel welcome.

Family run traditional transport cafe, dad cooks and son takes care of hospitality. Lovely people, always making time to chit chat and remember small details in their customers lives. Super friendly. Customers range from van drivers to builders, single parents to wealthy 4x4 owners. Everyone is made to feel welcome and at home. Food is delicious and menu extensive. Each order is cooked fresh and they are happy to tailor your selection to suit. This place has become a regular haunt for myself and my partner, often choosing the jungle cafe over the expensive options in town. You simply cannot beat these low prices and personal atmosphere but if it’s a fancy restaurant you want, telling you how you must order your over priced meat then this may not be for you. The jungle cafe is simply a cafe, no frills or graces, and that is its charm.
